“This is the kind of instruction I was searching for when I decided to become a professional artist. When I was sixteen, I made the decision to get oil painting lessons. I was fortunate to have Jim Rayker, the owner of the Royal Hawaiian (hotel) Gallery as my teacher. During the course of my first painting, I went from a high school level artist to a professional level artist. This was because I had a really good teacher and was working with paints that gave me time to get the realistic effects I wanted to achieve.” PC
